An Outstanding Solo Yakiniku Experience I had an amazing experience dining here by myself. At first, I was a little surprised that they only serve 2 items per person at a time, but after experiencing it, I completely understood why. The food always arrived fresh instead of sitting on the table getting cold. It also naturally paced my meal, so I ended up feeling perfectly full without wasting any food. The service was exceptional. The staff consistently checked in at the right time without being intrusive. Every time I was almost finished, they came over to ask if I'd like to order more. It made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Another thing I really appreciated was the quality of the meat. Unlike some other BBQ places where the meat feels like it came straight from the freezer, every plate here arrived fresh and ready for the grill. This restaurant is also incredibly solo-diner friendly. I noticed several people dining alone, and I never felt out of place. If you enjoy treating yourself to a relaxing yakiniku meal, this is a fantastic place to do it. To me, this isn't just an all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurant. We all know that yo Kaku’s give us very good quality of meat for us. We order the buffet and I think we had like the total of 15 plates and also ice cream the meat is very high-quality. The other part of buffet is the appetizer tofu is good. The miso soup is good and we order rice too. I also recommend order the mushroom and the spinach in the foil. All that add a lot of taste for this experience.

I’ve been a longtime loyal Gyu-Kaku customer, and this location stood out today. The team had great energy, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the meal. Everyone made the experience feel smooth and welcoming. This was probably one of the best service experiences I’ve had at any Gyu-Kaku so far.

I like coming to this location. They have value set for meat lovers which includes several types of meat, salad, fried chicken, miso soups, rice and s’mores. It is fun to cook s’mores with real fire. Do sign up for their reward program and you can redeem points for free dish or even a discount. Reservations is required for dinners.

Great spot for Japanese BBQ in Cupertino. Cozy, comfortable atmosphere and perfect for a relaxed Saturday lunch. The menu has tons of variety and everything we ordered was super fresh. The cabbage salad was excellent, and the Kobe beef was so good we ordered another round for dessert. Prices are reasonable, especially with happy hour deals. Overall really solid and definitely worth a visit.
